Seeking an Experienced Trust Administration/Estate Planning Attorney - Remote - Part-Time

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for important work, including:

·      Overseeing and managing the workflow for trust administration matters

·      Working with the trust administration legal assistant to develop tax and administration strategies

·      Advising, guiding, and communicating with our clients in conjunction with our support staff to ensure they feel support and guidance through the legal aspects of losing or caring for a loved one

·      Communicating with clients’ CPAs or other tax advisors to develop a cohesive strategy for tax planning and trust administration

·      Answering legal and strategic questions from our support staff, clients, and clients’ financial and tax advisors

·      Drafting and administering trusts and subtrusts

·      Administering advanced planning techniques for high-net-worth clients such as irrevocable trust drafting and administration

 Paralegal – Remote - Full-Time

  • Maintaining calendar, deadlines, and reminders for the team

  • Maintaining files, opening files, closing files, copying, scanning, etc

  • Communicating professionally with clients, attorneys, judges, etc

  • Communicating with clients to gather all relevant information and keep them informed

  • Delivering excellent customer service

  • Meeting billable requirements

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Associate degree, college degree, and/or paralegal degree from an accredited school

  • MUST have comprehensive knowledge of and experience in estate planning

  • Experience with Clio is preferred by not required

This position will be responsible for important work, including:

·      Serving as witnesses to our clients’ signing ceremonies,

·      Supporting the owner by running office errands

·      Organizing files, copying, and scanning to ensure the law firm has full and accurate copies of all the important documents, and

·      Making phone calls to confirm client appointments and/or information.
